The front page of a newspaper ideally contains the biggest news stories of the day in the country where it is circulated, but if something very significant happens elsewhere in the world, that might find space there too. Sometimes the front page teases other interesting stories inside the edition. In a magazine, the front page is the first and most visible page, often divided into sections such as Local, Sports, Lifestyle, Family or Business, each with its own front page. The home page of a website is also often called the front page.
Articles on the front page are important and interesting, and deserve to be seen. They are often accompanied by pictures.
